PARKLAND EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES

Parkland is unique because it does allow residents to ride horses throughout the city. The endless equestrian opportunities are what make Parkland extraordinary and attract so many horse enthusiasts to the area. There is a Parkland Horseman's Association run by fabulous volunteers that put on many horse shows and riding opportunities throughout the year at the Equestrian Center at Temple Park which features open space and two rings for horseback riding. As well as horse shows, the Parkland Horseman's Association also offers dressage shows and educational clinics. To participate in a horse show, you must become a member of the Parkland Horseman's Association. For a small fee, you can be part of a large community that seeks to keep the country-like atmosphere of Parkland alive.
